Control, maintenance and inspection of stationary tanks

Athelia Solutions has developed a mobile computing solution for the control, maintenance and inspection of LPG stationary tanks.

This solution is implemented for all the technicians. It allows a regular report of all the tanks maintenance and inspection operations: reports of the technicians activities, client and installation information.

Each tank is individually identified with a RFID tag, which allows the storage of information about the operations carried out in the tank and all the client’s information.

Every technician is equipped with a handheld computer, with an integrated RFID reader. The handheld has a software application which allows the registration of control and maintenance operations, the reading/writing of RFID tags updating the recorded information and the printing of reports that must be delivered to the client in every visit.

The components of the GasTank solution are:

• Read/write RFID tags, fixed to each LPG tank.


• Handheld computers with ATEX certification and integrated RFID reader, for the maintenance and inspection technicians.


• Management software GasTank, embedded in the handheld computer.


• Interface to the ERP.
